Ancient civilizations hidden truth?

as we progress farther into the future we uncover more of the past, which is more mysterious then we thought. All evidence and facts show that ancient civilizations were not DUMB cavemen but were infact as sophisticated as we are today if not even more. How can this be? how can the pyramids be explained away even the egytians claimed they did not build it that it has always "been". Not only is it Gigantic but engraved into its construction Modern day mathamatics such as Pi it is the Most best structure ever kjnown to the world. The Sumerians had a 10 base counting system superior to our own which allowed them to calculate numbers we wouldnt dream of such as there famous 15 digit number. Also artifacts that defy explaination such as the cell battery and the watch that calculates longitude and latitude, maps ect. could it be they were as we are now? suddenly wiped, from the face of the earth by a (Flood) as is recorded in nearly every religion in the world. what are some of your opinions
