I need help for a school dance outfit or i wont look hot in.. I need something that i can find in my closet .?

Okay our theme for our school dance is "hollywood". but i dont know wat to wear. our school says its not a prom but a dress up party. so childish!! anyway. i need help. we cant wear strapless dresses or midriffs, high split dresses, short dresses, shorts, jeans, running shoes and flip flops. I cant buy anything cus' "the moms" isn't coughin up any cash. wat should i wear tht will impress people and look smokin hot and i can find in my closet. plz add makeup tips too. p.s. im a girl.:)
