Shouldn't you p a test before voting?

...So we are going to spend probably millions (knowing the gov't) to prepare this test so people can take it and then vote? It would completely defeat, not only the democratic process, but any incentive for people to vote because, 1, who has time to take a test? 2, who is going to support paying for it? And 3, some won't p it. People should get informed because they want to be...not because they have to. It is a democracy, you know...and at the age of 18, you are allowed to vote. Nothing should be able to take that away.

DIY radiator flush 2000 dodge avenger?

Hospital Mis-diagnoses?

On Sunday my son woke up & his left eye was swollen & had crust around it.All day he wouldn't open either eye & was really lathargic.I took him to a hospital that afternoon & all they said was that he had a bacterial infection in his eye.They gave me some ointment to put in his eye & sent us home. They didn't run any blood tests or anything.I put it in his eye before I put him to bed.The next morning we had to wake him up.He still wouldn't open either eye & then we were wiping his eye out & stuff started squerting out of it.I then rushed him to another hospital.They ran blood tests, did a spinal tap, x-rays and a CT.They then transported him to Children's Hospital Oakland and he was there for 3 days.They said he was severly dehidrated along with the infection in his eye.They are still waiting on a test to see if everything was caused by a cat scratch.So the first hospital mis-diagnosed my son. I lost a week of work because of their lack of concern.My son could have died. Suggestions?

It depends on which UC you choose. Generally the top 4 UC's are a bit harder to get in, while the rest are pretty easy. If you live in-state (CA) then I think you have a better chance. Also, your GPA seems better than average. Be sure to do well on your SAT and participate in many extracurricular activities. It seems that you've already added some, so thats good. If you don't plan on going to a UC right after HS, and want to go to community college thats a good choice as well. You save money on the first two years while learning the same thing as those who are attending their 1st and 2nd years at UC's. I think you won't have a problem getting into a UC...maybe Merced or Riverside or SC. You'll do fine.

I've spent time at a variety of different barns and if you feel uncomfortable with someone and you can't do anything about them, it may be time to look elsewhere. it was very hard for me to leave my first barn when I was treated poorly by a trainer but in the end it turned out for the best. Why Did I Have These Hallucinations?

Ok when I was like between 4 and 6 years I used to wake up like in the middle of the night and see a bunch of animals in my room like cats, birds, insects, iguanas. Literally any animal you can think of. I would tell my mom and her boyfriend about it but they wouldn't see it only me. And when they would turn on the light they would disappear. This would happen all the time and I was scared out of mind. So what was the cause of these hallucinations. BTW I'm 13 now.

I am looking for a specific table lamp (i'm hoping I can locate it on ebay). It comes from JcPenney and I believe it first came out in 2008. It was featured in the catalog under the section for the Cleo bedding set. This set (for easy identification) is a black comforter with jacobean-inspired floral stitching. The accent colors were burgundy, gold, and green. The lamp appears to have gold on the base and the very top while the center portion is black with a silver leaf/fern design wrapping around it. The shade is a simple solid white. I seem to remember the name being at the bottom of the page in small print. I think it simply gave the name and page number. I have the bed set, which I love, but feel that the lamp that they showed with it would be very complimentary. What can I do about my mother who is emotionally abusive?

So, my mother is basically always picking on me and my sister. The minute we get into the car from being picked up from school, the complaining starts. She blames us for everything from her not having a job to the fact she doesn't like her clothes. We're always behind it somehow. She finds flaws in everyone constantly and calls us names all the time and it's getting worse. She makes me feel really bad about myself, continually searching for something else to pick on. She never holds back, im either "puting on weight" or "failing at school". But no matter how hard I try , nothing is ever good enough for her. She always picks on me most since im the oldest (15) and my sister is 12. She's divorced and jobless. I know not having a job is hard but it's not me and my sister's fault. She needs to get over the crate issue. One of the best ways to positive ociate the crate is to feed her in there. Every time. You put her bowl in and only feed her in there. Also toys, treats and a bed to make it her den and safe place. It will take time. Make sure you take her out A LOT to give her opportunity to empty system before crating her(like before you leave, not necessarily every time you feed her) and immediately after when you get home. Crate her at night and always leave the crate door open for her to go in as she pleases.

I think I have spyware on my computer please help! I have tried everything.?

I have Windows 7. Microsoft XP. 1 Mth old computer. I downloaded what I thought was Active X. I started having problems with popups and I didnt think nothing of it. I turned popup blocker back off. It started getting worse. Also, when I open more than one internet explorer browser then IE will close and tell me it was an error and it will reopen my pages for me. I ran my spyware tool (Ccleaner) and my antivirus program and found nothing. I went to the Control Panel for anything suspicious and found a RaveGame Toolbar that I deleted. I downloaded a free trial of Spyware Dr and deleted the registry keys that it found. And restarted the computer. I thought everything was ok until I tried to get on two websites together again. I think the popup problem is gone but not for sure. Please help. I also done a backup of my computer before deleting the registry. I recently started jogging, but can only go for 10 minutes then stop because of pain in my lower leg. Why?

When I go for more than 10 minutes, the pain gets too much. I am still in pain now, and its been more than 20 minutes since i stopped. I am not severly overweight. Could loose 10 lbs. The pain is in the front of the bone, the lower half of my leg, starts about a few inches below the knee, and with every step of my weight onto it when jogging, it feels like there is too much weight or pressure. What can I do? Walking is not enough to loose weight.

The roster is good. They could have added more superstars and legends. I don't know about the game play though. Seems like the NBA or NFL Street games of the wrestling world. It's like an arcade game. The best wrestling version of this type of game was "WresleMania: The Arcade Game." I feel that game cannot be replicated. It was too fun!

Why did my used 94 ford Taurus stop working when i shifted it from overdrive to the second driving option?

I just bought a used 94 ford taurus and it was driving fine for a week or so, but on the way back home on a road trip I was curious to see what the other driving option was and shifted into it for a little bit. Nothing bad happened. It drove but i wasn't comfortable driving in it on the highway so I stopped and shifted back to overdrive. Then when I tried to accelerate on the highway the car wouldn't speed up and the engine made a funny noise. I eventually came to a crawling halt and had to pull over on the shoulder. Any ideas of what could be wrong with it, because it was working great until I shifted those gears.
