What does the Confederate Flag represent to the Tea Party when they wave it?

I have never seen the Confederate flag at any of the rallies I've been to. I'd ume that if someone was waving it, it would be as a symbol of their dissatisfation with the government policies and their desire for major change in direction as that flag was originally used. However, due to the Confederate flag's ties to the pro-slavery agenda of the past, it really is not appropriate to use in this or any other situation..
