Does comcast require landlord authorization for service installation?

the only time we need landlord authorization if we have to drill any new holes.. most apts/ 2 fam already have the cable lines in place and it is just a matter of us to turn on the lines you want to use... if a line has to be replaced and we have to bore out an old hole then no... it is there already and the landlord usually dont mind..now if we are running a new line and we have to drill a hole in the wall where one never was then the tech needs an authorization letter from the landlord saying it is ok to do so...... now if your lease states that you need the landlords ok for anthing added then i would say yes..
