Where is it written that you cannot make change from church collection plate? Wife says I can no longer go.?

Ok, I forgot we were going to early Sunday m. I usually do not go Church as often as I should, so I'm a little rusty on the rules. This was a special occasion, a baptism for my new niece. Well, long story short, the night before included a stop at Foxwoods casino, and the Foxy Lady. All I had for bills was a fifty and a hundred. I did not see any problem when the bowl came around, to put the fifty in and take out a ten and a twenty. Well, no one saw me put the fifty in, only take the money out. So now, everyone is pointing and staring at us, calling us names and such. Someone actually threw a Bible at me. To top it all off, I ended up just putting all the money back in just to keep the peace. Now this church is into me for $100 bucks , because its the same church where I was attacked earlier in the week during Bingo, and was forced to flee before collecting my $50 winner. Should I call the Pope?
