40's? snowman Anyone know what this is??

this is a sculpture site, not a decorative object site. I would try to find flea market or antique market stores that sell old decorative items. look on the bottom or lower back side and look for a maker's mark. then you can research the mark at the library. ask the reference librarian to help you find book or do interlibrary loan for you to check out makers mark.
