Is America really "Capitalist"?

We really are a capitalist country. This country still creates a lot of wealth. However, America is a country that is supposed to be empathetic as well. America won't leave behind the elderly that can't work but contributed to the buildup of the country throughout their productive years. The country won't leave behind their disabled vets and people with serious disabilities. America is not about mistreating mentally disabled people or those with serious diseases. To do this a little socialism and regulation has to be introduced into the equation with the idea that most of the citizens won't mind helping out those in need to make America stronger. So, we are a capitalist country that has a responsibility to every citizen in America to guarantee the pursuit of happiness.
