Does innate and adaptive immunity response occur at the same time when encountered by a foreign pathogen?

i believe so. also look in a molecular biotechnology book or the pathogen section of the human physiology book. there is a whole chapter on this section that can help. there is also vids of this in action on youtube. just type in the type of pathogen and it will show you the pathway.
